The Enochian alphabet first appeared during the 16th century. The Court Astrologer and Magician, Dr. John Dee (1527-1608) and his associate, Sir Edward Kelly (1555-1597) claimed that the alphabet and the Enochian language were transmitted to them by angels.
The alphabet is used in the practice of Enochian Magic.
There is a belief that Enoch spoke this language from the beginning of time, and angels and later the fallen angels who became demons also spoke this language as well.
I personally hesitated for a long time before i write about this subject and I am still reluctant to expand in elaboration due to the existence of written Enochian materials and texts which is regarded to be very blasphemous. In fact, such texts lead the JOS ministry (Joy of Satan) to advise that one should have performed the dedication ritual before reciting such blasphemy especially in enochian since there is a strong belief that Enochian is an ancient language originally used by ancient idols, angels and demons.
I have decided to make some basic information available to our website visitors from an educational point of view and my conviction that knowledge is a sharp blade that can be used both ways.
