Mystery of the Alphabets

The actual meaning of the names of Adam and Eve are more understood if we trace back its Arabic origin and pronunciation since  derived  from the Canaanite language. Arabic is regarded to be one of  the most ancient forms of languages known to man sprouting  into several dialects one of which historically recognized of its derivatives is the Phoenician language and its famous Alphabet which managed to sail across the ancient world  aboard Phoenician vessels upon shoulders of pioneer navigators and  mercenary masons who played a major role in shaping our history, from the erection of temples across the ancient world stretching from the Temple of Solomon in Jerusalem, Egypt to Persian, while at a later stage Phoenician communities immigrated to Greece and Britain several thousand years ago emitting their rich and mystical culture where ever the tide led them towards unknown frontiers and an chartered planes….

Th e origin of the name Europe is none else than the name of a famous blond hair blue eyed Phoenician princess Europa the daughter of Agenor (the Phoenician king of ancient Tyre), the sister of Cadmus, so beautiful she managed to get Zeus to fall in love with her, according to Greek mythology Zeus Saw her picking flowers by the sea when love from the first sight struck poor Zeus…

First queen of Crete she begot three sons; Minons King of Crete, Rhadamanthus king of Cyclades Islands and prince Sarpedon of lycia. The Sumerian cuneiform is also one of the oldest known scripts almost 5000 years old and one finds many common vocabulary between Arabic and Sumerian which indicates to one connected root of an older spoken language in that region.

To get back to pronunciation and meaning of Adam and Eve in Arabic as this is really the core of our article.

Adam: the letter A or Alef (ا), stands for the first the Alpha, the creator.
D or Dal (د) stands for Dem in Arabic meaning blood.
M (م) as Meme stands for Ma’ or running water symbolizing continuation.
Eve: Hawwa meaning the Container
H (ح) symbolizes Life.
A (ا) is for first life.
W (و) pronounced as Waw stands for multitude.

Adam is first blood and Eve is first container.

One may soon discover a greater meaning to our history by decoding the meanings behind letters and numbers, such discoveries may lead us to a better understanding of who we are and how we developed our communication skills across the ages, perhaps this will also lead to an improvement of our way of life in this age of instant messaging and cyber wonders.

Below is what I believe to be the original meanings are Arabic alphabets:

Aleph    : ا is the prime, the Alpha.
Ba    : ب is a door, an entrance and a symbol for existence. Survival in Arabic means Baqa, you can see how the derivates may expand to numerous usages and that is the case with all the other letters and other languages as well.
Te    : ت is a coffin which symbolizes the return to basics a coffin in Arabic is Taboot.
Theh    : ث is stillness or stability and the Arabic word for it is thabat, notice how the first letter to begin the words is actually the letter it describes.
Jeem    : ج stands for group in Arabic jama’ah.
Ha    : ح stands for life and truth in Arabic Hayatt. Maybe that is why they used this word for the Hayatt hotel chain! Kidding ofcourse…
Kha     : خ is for the giver of life, the creator, one will notice the position of the dot in Jeem is in the middles of it as if to indicate to the leader or the center of a group, in the Kha the dot is on top of the character is if to indicate the giver of life from above.
Dal     : د stand for proof, a tangible proof or evidence in Arabic the word is Dalil.
Dhal     : ذ stands for remembrance, which is also relevant to Dalil or evidence.
Ra     : ر stands for lord and high in Arabic rafi3 that is why it was used in ancient Egypt in the Eye of Ra alongside many other similar usages.
Zayn    : ز cleanse serine and subtle beauty in Arabic zahi.
Seen    : س listener or hearer and its Arabic is sami3.
Shin    : ش who Forsakes and accepts in forgiveness its Arabic is shafi3.
Sad    : ص Connection, interaction and communication in Arabic Silah or Salat.
Dadd    : ض Adverse or opposite in Arabic Dodd.
Tah    : ط Pure in Arabic Tahir.
Zah    : ظ Apparent or obvious in Arabic Zahir.
Ayn    : ع High, in Arabic 3ali or 3aly. it is common to use the character 3 to symbolize ع for its resemblance.
Ghyn     : غthe Unknown or unreckoned in Arabic Ghayb.
Fa    : ف Conqueror or to open in Arabic Fatih.
Qaf    : ق Mighty, powerful capable, in Arabic Qadir.
Kaf    : ك Generous and sufficient in Arabic Kafi or Karim.
Lam    : ل Goad but this letter is mostly used to connect between letters and help forming a word like a searching tool in Arabic it symbolizes the word Liqa.
Meme    : م continuation, streaming waters in Arabic Ma’.
Noon    : ن light, in arabic Nour.
Waw    : و govern, incharge administrator, in Arabic Wali.
Heh    : ه Guide, enlighten in Arabic Hadi.
Ya    : ي to manage and to conduct, in Arabic youdir.

If we are to compare the Phoenician meaning of the words to the Arabic present usages one will be surprised of the match that exists between those two languages.

K pronounced Kaph means Palm and in Arabic Palm means Kaph.
Yodh as pronounced means Hand, Hand in Arabic means Yed.
Beth as pronounced means Home, in Arabic Home means Beit.
Sin as pronounced means Tooth, in Arabic Tooth means Sin.
Res as pronounced means Head, in Arabic Head mean Ras.
Ayin  as pronounced means Eye, in Arabic an eye means Ayin.
Samekh as pronounced means Fish, in Arabic fish means samak.
Mem as pronounced means water, in Arabic water means Mai.

That finding only solidifies the link between ancient languages in origin and gives a hint of how the usage managed to develop in time and become more complicated as way of life evolved and became more complicated and more diverse.
